A veteran in the public legal service sector, Mavis has contributed a decade to sterling service in the Attorney-General’s Chambers (AGC). Serving with great distinction, she was the Chief Prosecutor in the then-Economic Crimes and Governance Division in 2011, continuing the role when the division was re-designated the Financial and Technology Crime Division in 2014; and taking on the Chief Prosecutor position in the Criminal Justice Division in 2015. In 2016, Mavis assumed a key leadership position as the Third Solicitor-General and subsequently Second Solicitor-General in 2017.
