On 1 October 2020, a hearing was held before the Chief Justice to address HC/OS 559/2020 (“OS 559"). OS 559 was the application filed by Ms Parti Liyani for leave for an investigation to be made into her complaint of misconduct against two Legal Service Officers (“LSOs”) under sections 82A(4) and (5) of the Legal Profession Act.
